40 Lesley Student-Athletes Placed on Fall NAC All-Academic Team
January 24, 2025CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Lesley University placed 40 student-athletes on the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Fall All-Academic Team announced by the conference on Friday. To be eligible for the NAC Fall NAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be participating members of their respective teams and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. -

Kalou Selected to NEWISA Senior Bowl
November 27, 2024CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Abby Kalou (Chicago, Ill.) will represent Lesley University at the 2024 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl, as recently announced by the organization. This year's Senior Bowl is tentatively set to be played on the first weekend of December at Clark University's Granger Athletic Complex in Worcester, Mass. -

The First Team honorees were Abby Kalou (Chicago, Ill.), Zoe Curtaz (Novato, Calif.), Annika Gnesda (Chico, Calif.), and Isabella Danna (Miami, Fla.). The Lynx also saw Rachel Weinzimer (Woodland Hills, Calif.) named to the East Division All-Conference Second Team, and Madison Roy (St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands) was placed on the NAC Sportsmanship Team as announced by the conference earlier this afternoon. -

In the 2024 class, there are four former student-athletes (Francis 'Fran' Cusick'09- Men's Cross Country, Jodi [Fralick] Kenton'09- Women's Soccer, Basketball, and Softball, John Sanchez'12- Men's Basketball, and Molly Sarson'13 (posthumous)- Softball), one administrator (Stan Vieira-athletic director), one coach (Jen [Benway] Viana- Softball/Athletic Director), and one team (2011 softball team). -
