40 Lesley Student-Athletes Placed on Fall NAC All-Academic Team

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Lesley University placed 30 student-athletes on the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Fall All-Academic Team announced by the conference on Friday. To be eligible for the NAC Fall NAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be participating members of their respective teams and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Women's soccer led the way overall with 15 student-athletes, followed by men's soccer with eight. Women's cross country came in third with five, followed by women's volleyball and women's tennis with four apiece, and finally, men's golf and men's cross country each had two.

The 349 student-athletes honored represent 57 teams across seven NAC-sponsored sports. Women's soccer leads with 113 honorees, and men's soccer with 78. Rounding out the list are women's volleyball (44), men's cross country (34), women's cross country (28), and both men's golf and women's tennis with 26 each.

The 2024 NAC Fall All-Academic Team includes 98 first-years, 88 sophomores, 71 juniors, 75 seniors, and 17 graduate students, showcasing academic excellence across all class levels.

NAC All-Academic Team honors are bestowed twice a year, after the fall and spring semesters. The fall semester All-Academic Team includes only student-athletes who competed in sports with a fall conference championship - men's and women's cross country, men's golf, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.

Winter and spring sports student-athletes will be recognized after the spring semester.
