THE LEAD – Senior forward Abby Kalou (Chicago, Ill.) registered her 100th career point with a pair of goals to power Lesley University past Thomas College, 7-0, Tuesday evening in NCAA Division III and NAC women's soccer action at Minuteman Field.

  • Kalou got the scoring started just 1:32 into the contest, collecting a rebound from Chase Livesey (St. Petersburg, Fla.) to put Lesley on top, 1-0.
  • Zoe Curtaz (Novato, Calif.) made it 2-0 in the 11th minute before an unassisted marker by Ariana Bunch (Newton, Mass.) netted an unassisted score in the 16th minute to move the needle to 3-0.
  • Kalou's historic marker came late in the first half as Payten Gallagher (Eugene, Ore.) slotted a pass to the winger for the finish to give Lesley a 4-0 cushion heading into the break.
  • In the second half, Kyle Chagnon (Framingham, Mass.) scored twice while first year Leecy Cruz (San Antoino, Tex.) netted her first collegiate goal in the 7-0 win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • Kalou becomes just the fourth player in program history to reach the 100 point milestone and now has 44 goals and 38 assists in her LU career.
  • Junior keeper Madison Reed (Burlingame, Calif.) picked up the shutout with four saves.
  • Lesley stays unbeaten at home with a 3-0-1 record in 2024.
  • Emilee Ireland suffered the loss for TC in net despite a 13-save outing.
