WESTON, Mass. – Top-seeded Regis College captured their fifth consecutive New England Collegiate Conference title as they hung on to defeat second-seeded Lesley University 6-3 this afternoon on the Pride Tennis Courts. Regis earned victories in two of the three doubles matches before taking four of the six singles matches to down the Lynx for the third straight season in the championship match
WINCHESTER, Mass. – The second-seeded Lesley University women’s tennis team has advanced to the New England Collegiate Conference Championship match for the third time in as many seasons as they blanked third-seed Becker College 9-0 in the NECC Semifinal match today at the Winchester Tennis Courts.

The loss drops the Lynx to 7-4 on the season and 4-2 in NECC action while the Pride improves to 8-1 overall and a perfect 6-0 in the conference.

The win avenges a 7-2 defeat the Amcats handed the Lynx last season as the Lynx improve to 4-2 overall in 2016. Anna Maria falls to 0-6 on the season with the loss.
