Women's Tennis Announces 2016 Recruiting Class

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley University Women's Tennis Head Coach Shawna Sarson has announced three new members will join the roster this upcoming fall. Tea Ryder, Maddie Abbott, and Jessica Russo will all join the Lynx as they search for a New England Collegiate Conference title.

"We are very excited as we look to build on the momentum of last year's championship appearance, said Sarson. "Tea, Maddie, and Jessica are going to be great additions to an already outstanding group of young women. We have a great mix of veteran leadership and new talent that will help the program grow for years to come."

The Lynx are coming off a 2015 campaign that saw them reach the NECC Championship match for the second straight season. Caroline Kiddie (Scituate, Mass.) led the charge in her second season, going 14-5 overall in singles play and 9-1 in conference matches. Kiddie and doubles partner Theresa Pereira (Hopedale, Mass.) put together an 8-2 mark in NECC doubles play.
