NECC Women's Tennis Championships
October 18, 2009ENFIELD, Conn. - ENFIELD, Conn.— Four out of the five New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women’s tennis programs headed into the finals matches today with the Bay Path College Wildcats, the Becker College Hawks and the Newbury College Nighthawks coming away with top honors from their student-athletes. NECC medallions were awarded to all six singles flights and all three doubles flights champions. -
All-NECC Women's Tennis Teams announced
October 17, 2009ATTLEBORO, Mass.- Four out of the five New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women’s tennis programs were represented on the 2009 All-NECC Women’s Tennis Team and NECC major awards, announced today by Commissioner Del Malloy. In addition to the all-conference team, three major individual award winners and the team sportsmanship award winner will be recognized at the first day of the 2009 NECC Championships. -
Newbury 8, Lesley 1
October 15, 2009CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Newbury College womens tennis team defeated visiting NECC opponent Lesley University today in Chestnut Hill, MA by a score of 8-1. The match marked the final home contest of senior Jillian Wojtowiczs (Palmer, MA/Palmer) career finishing with a total of eight singles and 12 doubles victories. With the victory, the Nighthawks improve to 7-8 on the season and an even conference record of 4-4. -

Lesley falls to conference leader Bay Path 7-2
October 10, 2009CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Lesley University women’s tennis team was defeated on Saturday afternoon by Bay Path College 7-2 and dropped their inaugural season record to 5-6 (2-5 NECC). Bay Path improved to 8-2 (5-1 NECC) as the Wildcats continued to be top dog in the conference. -
Lynx suffer 5-4 loss to Mariners
October 08, 2009NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Lesley University women’s team fell to 5-5 (2-4 NECC) following a 5-4 loss to Mitchell College, who earned their first victory of the season and improved to 1-9 (1-5 NECC). The Lynx will next host Senior Night on Saturday, October 10 against Bay Path College starting at 12:00 pm. -
Lesley hands Becker first conference loss
October 06, 2009CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In the final singles match between Lesley University and Becker College, Brenna Donovan (HINGHAM, Mass./Hingham) came from one set behind to beat her opponent and in the process lifted the Lynx to a 5-4 victory over the Hawks. -
NECC releases weekly honors

Tennis sweeps Johnson State in Sunday double dip

Lynx earns first conference victory in program history
September 24, 2009CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Lesley University women’s tennis team defeated New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) opponent Mitchell College on Thursday evening to earn their first-ever conference victory in program history. The win improves Lesley’s record to 2-3 (1-0 NECC) while Mitchell falls to 0-5 (0-2 NECC). -

Women's tennis fifth in NECC Preseason Poll
September 03, 2009ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Bay Path College has been tabbed as the preseason favorite to capture the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women’s tennis championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Del Malloy. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the NECC’s head women’s tennis coaches.
