    Cambridge, Mass. – Senior Ryan Pumphret (Shrewsbury, MA), landed on the 2019 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-New England Region Second Team, as a designated hitter, as announced by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) on Tuesday afternoon. Pumphret was also named to the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association's (NEIBA) Division III All-New England Second Team.
  • NECC Tournament: #3 Lynx Conclude 2019 Season With Loss against #4 Eastern Nazarene

    New London, CT. – #3 Lesley baseball were eliminated from New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Tournament after a 14-5 loss against #4 Eastern Nazarene College on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field on the campus of Mitchell College. The Lynx finish season with an overall record of 12-25. Eastern Nazarene improved its record to 21-18 on the year.

    Henniker, N.H. – #3 Lesley baseball dropped 5-2 game to #2 New England College on Thursday afternoon at Laurie Cox Memorial field. The Lynx now drop into the loser’s bracket of the NECC Tournament. The Lynx fall to 12-24 on the season, while New England College improve to 23-15 on the year.

    Northborough, MA. – A complete game performance from Daniel O’Donnell Jr. (Clark, N.J.) helped Lesley University baseball claim a 8-2 win over Becker College in NECC Tournament first round game, on Tuesday afternoon at New England Baseball Complex. The Lynx now advance to double-elimination tournament beginning on Thursday. The Lynx improve to 12-23 on the season, while Becker end its season with a record of 13-25 on the season.

    Cambridge, Mass. - Lesley University Baseball Senior pitcher Daniel O'Donnell Jr. (Clark, N.J.) has been named NECC Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday. This is O'Donnell's second time receiving the honor this season.

    Northborough, MA - Lesley University baseball had some senior day magic with two walk-off singles to sweep Becker College in a New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) doubleheader Sunday afternoon at New England Baseball Complex. In Game 1, Ryan Pumphret (Shrewsbury, MA.) singled in the top of the seventh to give Lesley a 10-9 come from behind victory. Meanwhile in game two, Jacob Cervantes (Ventura, CA.) had a pinch-hit single in the bottom of the 11th inning to give Lesley a 4-3 win. With the sweep, Lesley also confirmed a spot in the NECC conference tournament, after entering the day outside the bracket. Lesley close regular season with record of 11-23 on the year, 8-8 in NECC play. Meanwhile, the Hawks sit at 13-24 on the season, posting a 7-9 conference record.

Lesley fell in game one, 5-3. In game two, Lesley came from a seven run deficit to win 13-9. The Lynx improve its record to 9-23 overall and 6-8 in conference play. Meanwhile, Newbury move to 7-22, also 4-10 in conference play.

    New London, CT. - Lesley University baseball were swept by Mitchell College during a New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Field. Lesley came up short in the first game 10-0, followed by a Mitchell win, 7-6. The Lynx fall to 7-22, and 5-7 in conference action. Meanwhile, Mitchell College improve their record to 27-6 overall, and 11-1 in NECC play.

    Dudley, MA. – Lesley University baseball dropped a non-conference game versus Nichols College on Thursday afternoon at Nichols Baseball field. The Bison pulled off an 11-2 win over the Lynx. The Lynx drop to 7-20 on the campaign, while Nichols improve to 18-13 overall on the season.

Meanwhile, Elms move to 4-18, 2-4 in conference play.

    Milton, MA. – Lesley University baseball were on the wrong end of a 29 run thriller against Curry College, on Thursday afternoon. Curry used 17 hits to post 16 runs to win, 16-13, over Lesley. The Lynx fall to 6-17 on the season, while Curry move to 9-14-1 on the season.

Lesley came up short in the first game 6-3, followed by a Dean win, 6-5, in eight innings. The Lynx fall to 6-15, and 4-4 in conference action. Meanwhile, Dean College improve their record to 8-13 overall, and 5-1 in NECC play.

Lesley scored three runs in final inning to take game 1, 5-4. In game two, NEC used a seven run second inning to control the game for a 10-2 win. The Lynx improve its record to 6-13 overall and 4-2 in conference play. Meanwhile, NEC move to 15-7, also 4-2 in conference play.

In Game 1, Lesley were able to win a pitcher’s duel 5-3. While in game two, the Lynx offense jumped on the Mountaineers for an 11-9 win. Lesley improve to 5-12 on the year, 3-1 in NECC play. Meanwhile, the Mountaineers sit at 6-10-1 on the season, posting a 1-3 conference record.
  • Baseball Splits Conference Opener

    Quincy, MA. - The Lesley University Lynx open up New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) play with a split double header against the Eastern Nazarene Lions. The Lions took game one 4-1 and the Lynx picked up game two 6-4. After the day the Lynx move to 3-12 overall and are now 1-1 in conference play. The Lions are now 10-7 overall and are 1-1 for NECC play.

    Northborough, MA - Lesley University baseball were on the wrong end of two close games against Northern Vermont University-Lyndon. Game 1 ended in a sliding play at the plate, as Lesley were beaten 1-0. Game 2 say the Lynx go long twice, but fall 5-2. Lesley drop to 2-11 on the year, while NVU-Lyndon improve to 5-13 on the season.

The Lynx could not hold off a Pioneer comeback in Game 1, 6-5, then the Lynx faced tough pitching in Game 2 to fall, 5-1. Lesley drop to 1-6 on the year, while William Paterson improve to 8-2.
