O'Donnell Jr. Tabbed as NECC Pitcher of the Week

NECC RELEASE

Cambridge, Mass. - Lesley University Baseball Senior pitcher Daniel O'Donnell Jr. (Clark, N.J.) was named NECC Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday. This is O'Donnell's first time receiving the honor this season.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

  • O'Donnell made three appearances in relief, posting a record of 1-0 and picking up two saves. In his 4.0 innings of work O'Donnell registered two strikeouts while only allowing two hits, allowing zero runs, and holding opponents batting average (OBA) to just .154.
  • In O'Donnell's win vs Eastern Nazarene (3/30/19), he went 2.2 innings while only surrendering two hits. O'Donnell notched both of his saves against Southern Vermont College (3/31/19), in game one he pitched a 1-2-3 inning with a backwards "K". Meanwhile, in game two he recorded the final out for a narrow 11-9 victory over the Mountaineers. 
  • Lesley went 3-3 over the week and were 3-0 when O'Donnell stepped on the rubber.
