    CHICOPEE, MA – Lesley University came from behind in the second game of the day to defeat Elms College for the first time in the school’s history. The win is even more significant than that for the Lynx. The victory is the first regular season conference loss by Elms College since 2004 which was a streak of 34 games, and also serves as revenge for the 6-4 defeat that Elms handed Lesley in the semifinals of last year’s NAC Tournament.

    LEICESTER, MA – Lesley University went into Leicester, MA and swept Becker College in a softball doubleheader for the first time in the school’s history. Not only did the Lynx walk away with two victories they also made a very loud statement to Becker as they scored 34 runs in the two games.

    NEWTON, Mass. (April 10, 2007) – The Lesley University softball team extended its winning streak to six games, as it upended Mount Ida College twice this afternoon at the Mount Ida Softball Field. After taking the first game of the twinbill 8-2, the Lynx downed the Mustangs 5-2 in the nightcap.

    CAMBRIDGE, MA – Sarah Wilson (Lowell, MA) and Jodi Fralick (Woburn, MA) both homered for Lesley as the Lynx went on to defeat the Wheelock College Wildcats 11-1 to open conference play.
  • Georgia Saltzman wins NAC Player of the Week

    CAMBRIDGE, MA – Georgia Saltzman (Lynn, MA) started her Lesley University softball career with a bang. Saltzman had an unbelievable first week and for her outstanding performance during spring training down in Ft Myers, FL, Saltzman was named the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week.

    FT. MYERS, FL – Day four of spring training witnessed a Lynx offensive eruption followed by a Lynx offensive hibernation. The Lesley University softball team spilt its final double-header at the Gene Cusick Classic to finish the week 5-3, the best finish ever for the Lynx at the Classic.
