CAMBRIDGE, MA - Lesley University got two much needed victories against Bay Path College to improve to 2-2 in division play and move into second play in the NAC West.

Amy Breen (Holbrook, MA) who is coming off severe foot and ankle problems pitched her first game of the season for Lesley, and looked very strong early on.  Breen pitched near flawless softball for three full innings before Bay Path was able to get to her in the fourth.  The Wildcats tied the game up at two in the forth with RBI's by Kristal Cormier (Rochester, NH) and Jackie Sousa (Granby, MA).

The Lynx would rally back and take the lead for good in the bottom of the fourth inning.  In the inning Jodi Fralick (Woburn, MA) who had a huge day for the Lynx, drove in two of Lesley's four runs that inning to push the Lynx on top 6-2.  Lesley would get four more runs in the bottom of the sixth to go up 10-2, effectively ending the game.

Despite a solid start from Breen she would be credited with a no-decision.  Maureen Mikos (Fairfield, CT) would get the win for the Lynx as she improves to 4-2 on the season.  Mikos came in relief of Breen and in three innings of work gave up just three hits while striking out three.

For the Wildcats Cormier would pick up the loss.  Cormier pitched five and a third, giving up six earned runs and walking just one.

A slew of Lesley players had a huge game at the plate for the Lynx.  Lani Cabral-Pini (Wilmington, MA) went 4-4 for the game with an RBI and two runs scored.  Fralick finished the day going 2-4 with three RBI and three runs scored.  Sarah Wilson (Lynn, MA) and Georgia Saltzman supplied plenty of power as both of them had two RBI.

Anzilotti pitched seven innings giving up four hits and zero earned runs while striking out four and walking nobody.  Anzilotti got serious offensive support from Wilson and Fralick.  Wilson homered for the Lynx and drove in a game high three RBI.  Fralick added to her great day at the plate with two more RBI.  For the day Fralick was an unbelievable 4-8 with five RBI and four runs scored.  With the win Anzilotti improves to 4-3 on the year for Lesley.
