    MARSHFIELD, Mass.- Sophomore Owen Simpson (Merrimack, N.H) of the Lesley University men's volleyball team has been selected to the New England Collegiate Conference Del Malloy Sportsmanship Team, announced the league office Tuesday.
  • Volleyball Ends Season with Loss to Nationally-Ranked Elms

    Chicopee, MA. - Lesley University men's volleyball ended its season with a 3-0 loss to nationally ranked No. 7 Elms College on Saturday afternoon at Picknelly Arena on the campus of Elms. The Blazers took the match in straight sets with scores of 25-5, 25-5, and 25-5. The Lynx finish with a 2-17 overall record, and 0-14 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) play. Meanwhile, the Blazers finish its regular season at to 27-4 overall and 13-1 in NECC action.
  • Lynx Take Down Gators, 3-1

    Chestnut Hill, MA- Lesley Men's Volleyball posted victory over Pine Manor College, 3-1, on Thursday evening at Brunelli Court. The Lynx held off the Gators with scores of 25-16, 25-23, 20-25, and 25-23. Lesley post a 2-16 record on the season, while Pine Manor fall to 2-15.
  • Volleyball Grab First Win of Season, 3-2 over Pine Manor; Swept By Colby-Sawyer, 3-0

    Chestnut Hill, MA- Lesley Men's Volleyball earned a split in tri-match held at Pine Manor College on Sunday afternoon. The Lynx grabbed their first win of the season with a five set thriller against Pine Manor, 3-2. The Lynx held off the Gators with scores of 25-14, 18-25, 20-25, 25-19, and 15-12. In the second game, Lesley was swept by Colby-Sawyer with sets of 25-9, 25-15, and 25-19. Lesley post a 1-16 record on the season, while Pine Manor fall to 2-12, and Colby-Sawyer improve to 10-13 on the year.
  • Lynx Drop Senior Day Doubleheader

    Medford, MA-  Lesley Men’s Volleyball were on the wrong end of two 3-0 matches against Southern Vermont College on Saturday afternoon Medford High School. Southern Vermont captured match one by scores of 25-11, 25-18, and 25-16. Lesley kept the scores close in game two but could not overcome the Mountaineers:25-21, 25-16, and 25-14. Lesley post a season record of 0-15, 0-13 in New Collegiate Conference (NECC) play, while Southern Vermont improve to 6-13, 3-9 in conference overall.
  • Lynx Drop Conference Battle To Gulls, 3-0

    Medford, MA. - Lesley University men's volleyball were taken down by the No. 8 nationally ranked Endicott College on Wednesday evening at Medford High School. The Gulls won in straight sets with scores of 25-7, 25-8, and 25-5. The Lynx drop to 0-12 overall, 0-10 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) play. Meanwhile, the Gulls improve to 20-4 overall and 11-1 in NECC action.
  • Lions Take Down Lynx, 3-0

    Boston, MA. - Lesley University men's volleyball were overwhelmed by the offense of Emerson College on Wednesday evening at Bobbi Brown and Steven Plofker Gym on the campus of Emerson College. The Lions picked up wins of 25-9, 25-17, and 25-19 in the three games. Emerson College move to 9-5 overall. Meanwhile, the Lynx fall to 0-9 overall.

    Quincy, MA. - Lesley University men's volleyball were swept by Eastern Nazarene College on Tuesday evening at Lahue Physical Education Center on the campus of Eastern Nazarene. The Lions picked up games of 25-7, 25-6, and 25-14. Eastern Nazarene College move to 10-12 overall and 5-4 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action. Meanwhile, the Lynx fall to 0-8, 0-7 in conference, overall.

  • Lynx Fall Short in Tri-Match

    Medford, MA. - Lesley University men’s volleyball were beaten in both matches of its doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, at Medford High School.  Eastern Nazarene College claimed the first match with sets of 25-9, 25-10 and 25-15. Elms College would build on an impressive season in the following game in which they won 25-3, 25-9, 25-8. Eastern Nazarene College move to 8-10 overall and 3-3 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action. Elms move to 19-4 overall and 6-1 in NECC play. Meanwhile, the Lynx fall to 0-5, 0-5 in conference, overall.
  • Lesley Falls in Doubleheader at Newbury

    BROOKLINE, MA- Lesley University men’s volleyball was defeated in both matches of their conference doubleheader against Newbury College on Tuesday, March 9 at Pappas Gymnasium on the campus of Hellenic College. Newbury claimed the first game with sets of 25-10, 25-10 and 25-11. The home team continued the success in the following game in which they won 25-17, 25-17, 25-11. Newbury improve to 6-10 overall and 5-1 in conference, meanwhile the Lynx fall to 0-3, 0-3 in conference, overall.
  • Lynx Fall in Home Opener to Nichols, 3-0

    Medford, Mass.- Lesley University Men's Volleyball dropped its home opener against the Bison of Nichols College, 3-0. Nichols captured victory in straight sets; 25-5, 25-6, and 25-4. The Bison boost its record to 7-7 and 3-2 in NECC conference play. Meanwhile, the Lynx move to 0-1, 0-1 in conference, on the young season.
