Medford, MA. - Lesley University men's volleyball were taken down by the No. 8 nationally ranked Endicott College on Wednesday evening at Medford High School. The Gulls won in straight sets with scores of 25-7, 25-8, and 25-5. The Lynx drop to 0-12 overall, 0-10 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) play. Meanwhile, the Gulls improve to 20-4 overall and 11-1 in NECC action.
LESLEY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Alexander Genova (Groton, CT.) showed his ability to play both sides of the ball, leading the Lynx with four kills and seven digs.
- John Gersbeck (Westerly, R.I.) paced the Lynx with five assists.
- Meanwhile, Andrew Medeiros (Bristol, R.I.) and Steven Newman (Natick, MA.) helped defensively with three and two digs respectively.
UP NEXT
Lesley (0-12, 0-10) have a quick turnaround as head to Dean College on Thursday, March 28, for a conference bout. The Gulls (20-4, 11-1) continue great season as they travel to Springfield, Mass as they take on Hunter College and Springfield College in a non-conference tri-match.
