MARSHFIELD, Mass.- Sophomore Owen Simpson (Merrimack, N.H) of the Lesley University men's volleyball team has been selected to the New England Collegiate Conference Del Malloy Sportsmanship Team, announced by the league office Tuesday.

Simpson made 18 appearances for the Lynx this season, compiling 18 kills while also adding 35 digs, six blocks, and 11 service aces.

"From the beginning of the season, Owen has shown tremendous sportsmanship" said head volleyball coach Nile Fox. "He always up lifts his team mates and shows the up most respect to opponents. This being Owen's first year playing organized volleyball he has kept a great attitude on and off the court, and the whole team appreciates him" said Fox.

Lesley finished season under Fox with an overall record of 2-17, most wins for the Lynx in a single season since 2013.
