CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Hailee Lowe (Hamilton, Mass.) had a game high 17 points and Lesley University got revenge on Elms College, defeating the Blazers 65-48.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Courtnie Leakeas (Lowell, Mass.) had 17 points and 10 rebounds, completing her second double-double of the season, and the Lynx rolled over the Bay Path Wildcats 67-44.
FARMINGTON, Me. The Lynx had four players in double figures but were unable to slow down the Farmington offense as they lost 91-62 to the University of Maine at Farmington.
BROOKLINE, Mass. The Lynx snapped their three game losing streak in a big way against Newbury College. Lesley got a complete team effort and routed the Nighthawks 69-41 in Brookline.
LEICESTER, Mass. The second meeting between Lesley University and Becker College proved to be a lot less dramatic than the first. With very little suspense or drama Becker rolled past the Lynx 84-60.
BOSTON, Mass. Simmons College had four players in double figures as they cruised past the Lynx 70-49. Lauren Kreckie, Kristine Lucas, Sarah Clayton and Kelly Larkin went for 20, 14, 10 and 10 points respectively. Lucas added 10 rebounds to complete the double-double.
NEWTON, Mass. Lesley University out-shot Lasell College, but lost the turnover battle and the game to Lasell 54-47. With the win Lasell sweeps the season series against the Lynx, 2-0.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. The Lynx almost pulled off another incredible comeback. Unfortunately they once again fell just short as Becker College escaped Cambridge a 60-58 winner.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Kelly Harrington (Toledo, Ohio) became the last female NAC Player of the Week for 2006. Harrington helped to lead the Lynx past Bay Path College as she scored a game high 28 points. Harrington also added six rebounds and four assists. The promising sophomore shot 12-23 from the floor in the first conference win for the Lynx.
LONGMEADOW, Mass. Lesley University broke out of its recent shooting woes in a big way against Bay Path College. Lesley University shot a remarkable 85% from three-point land as they blew Bay Path out 87-57 in their first conference win of the year.
NASHUA, N.H. Courtnie Leakeas (Lowell, Mass.) dropped a game high 18 points and Lani Cabral-Pini (Wilmington, Mass.) added 9 points but it was not enough as Lesley lost to Rivier 75-52.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Lani Cabral-Pini (Wilmington, Mass.) had 11 points, 5 steals, 5 rebounds and 3 assists but it was not enough as the Lynx lost to the Castleton State College Spartans 65-42.
BRAINTREE, MA The Lynx were unable to contain Shelly Szkutak (Lake Placid, N.Y.) who had 26 points and 13 rebounds as Johnson State College beat Lesley 73-58.
NEWTON, Mass. Freshman Nicole Casimiro (Lee, N.H.) tallied 21 points and six assists to boost the Mount Ida College womens basketball team to a convincing 98-47 victory over Lesley University this evening at the Mount Ida Athletic Center. The forward connected on 10-of-13 shots from the field, as the Mustangs picked up their first league win of the 2006-07 campaign.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Kaitlin Laquerre (Hudson, N.H.) had a monstrous first half and was a big reason why Lesley trailed Husson College by only seven points at half time.
