Lynx prepare for Eastern Naz tonight at 8

Tonight's matchup
Lesley (0-3) comes in looking for its first win of the season after a pair of losses in the Pine Manor College Tip-Off Tournament over the weekend, while Eastern Nazarene (1-2) enters on the heels of two losses at the Bowdoin tournament after a season-opening win at UMass-Boston.

Fleming named to all-tournament team
Emily Fleming was named to the all-tournament team at Pine Manor with a career-high 20 points on 8-8 shooting at the free-throw stripe in the Lynx loss to the College of New Rochelle 52-36 on Sunday. In the Lynx loss to Albertus Magnus a day earlier, she posted her first career double-double with 12 points and a career-high 12 rebounds, shooting 2-5 from three-point range.

Making their mark on the boards
Two juniors in their first season with the Lynx set career rebounding bests early in their careers. Chelsea Contre grabbed 15 rebounds against New Rochelle, the most a Lynx player has totaled since Brianne Caira pulled down 15 at Elms, 12/11/10. Katherine Bradley also totaled a career-best with 11 against CNR.

Atop the NECC leaderboard ...
Guard Sarah Apgar leads the NECC with 116 minutes played and 38.7 minutes per game. Fleming is fourth at 34.3. Contre ranks fourth in the NECC with nine rebounds per game.

Getting defensive
Led by three each for Sarah Apgar, Chelsea Contre and Carrie Fieger, Lesley totaled a season-best 15 steals on Sunday against New Rochelle, holding the Blue Angels to an opponent's season-low 52 points.

Lesley returns point guard Emily Fleming from its 2010-11 team that finished in first place in the New England Collegiate Conference at 13-3 (16-11 overall). Fleming started her final 18 games as a freshman last season, leading the team with four assists per game and finishing second on the club with 41 steals (1.7 spg).
