CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The awards keep coming for Lesley University senior Justin Rosa (East Brunswick, N.J.) following one of the most impressive weeks of his career. After being named New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, the senior has been tabbed as the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Co-Player of the Week. Rosa shared the honor with Bowdoin College junior Lucas Hausman.
Rosa averaged 26.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in three games for the Lynx last week, including a 41-point outburst against Elms College that broke the Lesley single-game scoring record. He also combined to score 37 points in losses to Mitchell College and Regis College last week.
The senior has put an exclamation point on his career in Cambridge as he became the third player in Lynx program history to score 1,000 points back on February 7th.
