Rosa's Historic Week Earns NECC Player of the Week Nod

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After a historic week that included a record-breaking 41 points in a game against Elms College, Lesley University senior Justin Rosa (East Brunswick, N.J.) has been named New England Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Roger Crosley made the announcement in the conference Weekly Report.

Rosa's 41-point outburst came just six days after he notched the 1,000th point of his career against Becker College. The senior ranks third on Lesley's all-time scoring list.

JUSTIN ROSA - Lesley University
(Senior – Guard – East Brunswick, N.J.)

Rosa (East Brunsick, N.J) was nearly unstoppable on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 26.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in three games. The senior broke the Lesley single-game scoring record on Friday as he scorched Elms College for a career-high 41 points on 12-of-22 shooting from the field. He backed that performance up with a game-high 20 points on Saturday in a loss to Mitchell College. Rosa also added 17 points, five rebounds, and four assists against Regis in Lesley's first game of the week.
