Kaufman Signs Professional Deal With Maccabi Hod Hasharon

ISRAEL – 2014 Lesley University graduate and former four-year member of the men's basketball program Mike Kaufman has followed his dream to play professional basketball and has signed a deal to play in Israel with Maccabi Hod Hasharon.

Kaufman, who helped captain the Lynx in his senior year, has had a multitude of workouts since graduating last May and has been in Israel since the beginning of September,  finally deciding to sign with Maccabi Hod Hasharon on Tuesday.

Kaufman becomes the seventh Lesley alum to play professionally joining Joe Chapman '08 (Switzerland), Mark Stevens '08 (Argentina, Chile), Mike Lush '08 (England), Thorton Paul '11 (South Korea), Jesus Trejo '11 (Domincan Republic), and John Sanchez '12 (Mexico), who was just named to his second all-star team in as many seasons in the Licmuba League in Mexico.

We outlined Mike's journey to the professional ranks this past July. Check it out here.
