THE LEAD – The Lynx welcomed Brandeis, ranked #18 in the nation, to Minuteman field for a non-conference matchup.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Judges were the first to put a goal on the board, when Ali Pennella put a header into the back of the net, off a corner kick from Rachel Watler 16 minutes into the game.
- Lesley battled for the next twenty-minutes, until junior Abby Kalou was awarded a penalty shot.
- The Lynx and Judges spent the rest of the first half in a tie.
- In the 59th minute, Tanvi Raju sent a cross pass over to Sydney Lenhart, who scored, sending the Judges up 2-1.
- Lenhart wasn't done, and just a minute later sent a header, off a corner kick, right past the Lynx goalie, with an assist to Watler.
- Another goal from Lenhart, her third of the match, put the Judges up 4-1 in the 72nd minute.
- The last goal of the game came from Dominique Paglia, unassisted, to solidify the Judges 5-1 win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Lauren Lacy recorded four saves in the net for the Lynx.
- Amaya Logan recorded half a shutout, with 3 SOG and 3 saves recorded over 45 minutes.

- The Lynx off until Saturday, September 30th, when they head to Maine Maritime Academy for a critical conference matchup.
