GAME OVERVIEW:
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Chessa Hoekstra scored in 74th minute and Emily Berzolla scored 3:38 later to help MIT down the Lynx, 2-0. With the win, MIT moves to 4-1-1 and hands the Lynx their first loss of the season, they now stand at 4-1 .
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- The Engineers' Ava Gillikin faced one shot recording a save, while Brittley Gaan faced eight shots making six saves in the loss.
- Calli Masters recorded the lone Lesley shot of the game while, MIT split their eight shots on goal between six different players.
- Chessa Hoekstra's goal in the 74th minute was her third of the season, she received the ball off a pass from Karenna Groff.
- MIT was able to keep the Lynx from getting a shot off in the second half while only allowing one attempt all match.
