
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the sixth straight season, the Lesley University women's soccer team will open up New England Collegiate Conference Championship play as the top seed and receive a bye in the First Round. The Lynx finished the season 16-3-0 overall and a perfect 9-0-0 in NECC play and have remained unbeaten in 51 straight regular season conference matches.
Elms College (9-8-1, 8-1 NECC) has earned the second seed and will host No. 7 Bay Path University (4-12-1, 3-5-1 NECC) while No. 6 Newbury College (4-10-1, 3-5-1 NECC) will visit No. 3 Regis College (10-5-2, 7-2-0 NECC).
Lesley will open up play at Edward Field on Thursday as they play host to the winner of fourth-seeded Becker College (8-8-2, 4-3-2 NECC) and fifth-seeded Southern Vermont College (7-10-0, 5-4-0 NECC).
