CAMBRIDGE, MA -- For the third consecutive season, Paul Vasconcelos has been named New England Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Coach of the Year.

The fourth-year head coach led the Lynx to a 11-6-3 record and an unbeaten 7-0-1 finish in NECC regular season play in 2010, returning the Lynx to the NECC Championship. Vasconcelos' Lynx remained on top of the NECC in spite of the graduation of 2009 Player of the Year and Lesley all-time scoring leader Jodi Fralick and 2009 Goalkeeper of the Year Hailee Lowe.

Lesley senior Alyson Durben was named to the 2010 All-NECC First Team. The midfielder tied for fourth in the league with six assists and ranked fifth overall at 0.38 assists per game. On Senior Night, a 7-0 win over Southern Vermont College, Durben broke the Lesley assists record with the 25th of her career.

Joining Durben on the First Team is Lynx defender Jamie Coyne. The sophomore anchored the league's top defense, one that posted nine shutouts in 18 contests. The Lynx defense ranked second in goals per game at 1.61, giving up only 30 goals on the season.

Midfielders and leading goal scorers Jackee Sanchez and Kate Ryder received All-NECC Second Team honors. Sanchez, an NECC All-Tournament Team selection, tied Ryder for team-high honors with eight goals on the year, good for sixth in the league. Ryder tied for the Lynx lead in points, with 19.
