BENNINGTON, Vt. - Senior Jodi Fralick (WOBURN, Mass./Woburn) added four more goals to her 2009 total in a 7-0 shutout of New England Collegiate Conference opponent Southern Vermont College. Fralick now has 16 goals on the season for the Lynx who improved to 8-3-1 (3-0 NECC).
It took Fralick just 0:19 seconds to tally her first goal, which was unassisted. She would later score goals in the 11th minute on a corner kick from Emma Fogg (WELLESLEY, Mass./Wellesley), the 47th minute, and the 54th minute from Sarah Levitt (SILVER SPRING, Md./James Hubert Blake).
Also scoring goals in the match were Kate Ryder (GLASTONBURY, Conn./Mercy), Jenna Fralick (WOBURN, Mass./Woburn), and Sarah Groh (WARWICK, R.I./Warwick Veterans Memorial).
Ryder's goal was her second of the season which came unassisted at 5:10. Jenna Fralick received a pass from Jodi Fralick at 20:52 for her sixth goal of the season.
Groh, a junior midfielder, scored her first career collegiate goal at 36:13 with an assist from Jenn Shotkus (WESTON, Mass./Weston).
Lesley keeper Miranda Matson (GIG HARBOR, Wash./Peninsula) made two saves and in the process recorded her fourth shutout of the season.
Lesley will next host Emerson College on Wednesday, October 7 for a match starting at 8:00 pm.
