CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The elements - and Megan Willette - were too
much for the Lesley Women's Soccer Team to overcome Sunday
afternoon, as St. Joseph's (ME) beat the Lynx, 8-0, at
BB&N.
Willette led the charge for St. Joseph's, scoring five goals in the
match's opening 47 minutes. St. Joseph's scored five goals in the
first half and three in the second.
Lesley (2-5-1 overall, 0-4-0 NAC) will look to rebound on Wednesday
when it hosts Wheelock at 7:30 p.m. The Lynx will travel to Vermont
for a pair of NAC matches this weekend, taking on Castleton State
at 12 p.m. on Saturday and Johnson State at 12 p.m. on Sunday.
