Lucia Robinson officially been named the head coach for Lesley University women's basketball coaching staff for the 2009-2010 season.

Robinson, a graduate of Bentley College with a bachelor's degree in math and a minor in psychology, played her collegiate ball for the Falcons during her junior and senior years.  Typically playing as a two-guard, Robinson was part of a Bentley squad that made the Sweet 16 her senior year in 2007.

Prior to her collegiate playing days, Robinson was a three-sport star at Pope John XXIII High School in Everett, Massachusetts as she earned 11 varsity letters playing basketball, softball, and soccer for four years.  She was the team MVP for her softball and basketball teams.  Academically, Robinson was a National Honor Society member and also earned the Scholar-Athlete Award from the U.S. Army.

As a coach, Robinson has spent time at the Dana Hall School as the Assistant Varsity Coach for basketball and as the Head Coach for junior varsity softball. 

Robinson has made the most impact as a coach at various basketball camps including the Bentley Summer Camp (2006-present), Net Results Camp (2007-present), and the Sarah Behn Camps (2005-present).

Professionally, Robinson is currently working her way towards achieving her master's degree in middle school math after previously working in the Chelsea school district teaching algebra, geometry, and pre-algebra.
