THE LEAD – The Lynx went up against UMaine Farmington in NAC play yesterday afternoon. Bested by the Beavers, Lesley drops to 0-4 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lesley hung tough in the opening period, trailing by four points after the first ten minutes.
- The game opened up in the second quarter, with the Beaver's pulling ahead curtesy of Sarah Poli who lead Farmington on a 22-4 run.
- The Lynx answered and were trailing 40-21 with just five minutes to go in the third. A nine point run solidified the Beavers lead to 27 points heading into the fourth.
- The Beavers continued to dominate offensively during the fourth, winning the match 80-42.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Alexandra Kerley lead the Lynx on both sides of the ball, picking up a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds, as well as steal and block.
- The Lynx were 7-11 from the free throw line.
- Poli lead the Beavers with 15 points.

The Lynx are back on the court Tuesday, Jan. 9th with a road match against Mount Holyoke College in non-conference play.
