THE LEAD – Lesley hit the road to take on the Emerson Lions of the NEWMAC in non-conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 1
- A three-pointer from Kendra Dodd in the first 30 seconds of the game gave Emerson a quick lead, but the Lynx responded with a three-pointer from Jordan Blair to even out the score.
- Twelve unanswered points for the Lions gave Emerson the lead they were looking for and forced Lesley to try and come out from behind going into the second quarter.
- The Lynx continued to put points on the board but could not break the 20 point lead the Lions safeguarded.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Alexandra Kerley led the Lynx with a whopping 31 points and 14 rebounds, collecting her fifth double-double of the season.
- Blair followed with 13 points for the Lynx, going 3-7 on three-pointers.
