Lynx Drop One to Elms Blazers

GAME OVERVIEW:

CHICOPEE, MA. -- The Lesley women's basketball team fell to the Elms College Blazers by a score of 90-24 on Saturday afternoon. The Lynx fall to 0-2 on the season and 0-1 in the NECC, while the Blazers improve to 1-4 and 1-0 in the conference.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

  • Elms was led by Tynisha Thomas and Samantha Lynes, who both had ten points off the bench. Thomas also led both teams in rebounds with 13.
  • Lindsey Jensen led the Lynx in points with eight, with Tallin Goldberg close behind at seven. Allison Napoleon led the Lynx in rebounds with nine and ranks fourth in the NECC in rebounds per game with 10.
  • The Lynx were unable to find success from beyond the arc in fifteen chances on the night, but the Blazers got their opportunities. Elms was 6 of 18 from three and made 80% of their free throws in the game.
  • Elms was able to grab 25 offensive rebounds that led to 26 second chance points. They also scored 38 points off of Lesley's turnovers.
