ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Sophomore forward Abby Henderson (Rochester, N.H.) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) All-Sportsmanship Team, announced by the conference Monday afternoon.
Appearing in 21 of 26 games, Henderson recorded a career year registering, a season-best, 117 points, 92 rebounds, 14 assists and 10 steals. Late in the season against NECC foe Newbury College on January 31st, the New Hampshire native netted a career single-game high 17 points while shooting 63.6% (7-11) from the floor. Earlier in the year in a 79-71 victory over Daniel Webster College, Henderson posted 15 points.
In addition, the New Hampshire native began the season pulling down a career single-game high 10 rebounds against non-conference Lyndon State College on November 15th. Later in the season, she tied her career single-game high in a 66-58 victory on the road against conference foe Mitchell College on January 14th.
