ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The awards continue to roll in for Lesley University freshman forward Dakota Jones (Torrance, Calif.) as she has been tabbed with her third New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week honor of the season. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen made the announcement yesterday in the conference Weekly Report.

The freshman has been a double-double machine for the Lynx, posting a pair last week to bring her before continuing her success last night by registering her ninth double-double and tying the Lesley single-game rebound record by pulling down 20.

New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week

Dakota Jones, Lesley (Fr., F, Torrance, Calif.) - The reigning NECC Rookie of the Week nets her third honor of the season after another week of averaging a double-double for the Lynx. Jones netted a career-best 20 points to go with 16 rebounds, three steals, and three blocks vs. Elms before helping lead Lesley to a 66-58 win at Mitchell on Saturday.
