Send seniors away in style on Senior Night

CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Help send Lesley's four women's basketball seniors and three men's seniors away in style at their final home game Saturday night against Daniel Webster.

The Lynx women will be honored prior to their 6 p.m. tip and the men's seniors prior to their 8:00 start at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols School at 80 Gerrys Landing Road in Cambridge.

Honored prior to the women's game will be top forwards Cassidy Freed and Rachael O'Mara, Lynx all-time leading rebounder and shot blocker, Brianne Caira, and the NECC's leading scorer and Lesley's second all-time leading scorer, Kaitlyn Wechsler.

With a win over Daniel Webster, the Lesley women can clinch a first place finish in the NECC, securing homecourt throughout the tournament.

Prior to the men's 8:00 tip-off, the Lynx will honor starting guard Thorton Paul, frontcourt pillar Harold Smith and all-time leading scorer Jesus Trejo.

For Trejo's Lynx, Saturday's game is for all practical purposes a playoff game. With a win, Lesley earns the final spot in the NECC Playoff bracket.

When the teams met two weeks ago on February 6, the Lesley's men knocked off Daniel Webster, 64-61, in Nashua, NH. For the women, a February 10 late comeback attempt fell short, 55-54.
