ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Lesley forward Hailee Lowe (Hamilton, Mass.) earned New England Collegiate Conference honors this past week as the Lynx rolled to a 3-0 record against conference opponents. It marks the second time this season that a Lesley player has won the award.
Lowe averaged 18.7 points/game, 11.0 rebounds/game, and 3.0 steals/game in victories of Mitchell, Southern Vermont, and Bay Path.
Lowe's game-of-the-week came against fellow undefeated NECC foe Mitchell College as both teams entered last Tuesday's game with 5-0 records in-conference. The junior exploded for 33 points and 15 rebounds in a 68-54 triumph over the Mariners. Lowe shot 64.0% from the floor and also tallied three assists and two steals.
Two days later, Lowe would record her third consecutive double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds in a 78-37 win over Southern Vermont.
The Lynx would finish off the week defeating Bay Path on the road 62-26. With 10 more points in that game, Lowe successfully completed eight consecutive games with double-digit points.
The women's basketball team will continue to look Lowe's way for offensive support in the month of February. The Lynx next travel to Mitchell on February 3 for a 7:00 pm game.
