Emmanuel over Lesley, 82-55

BOSTON, Mass. - The Lesley University women's basketball team lost to Emmanuel College 82-55 in their final non-conference game before a long stretch of home North Atlantic Conference match ups.  With the loss, the Lynx fell to 9-8 (4-3 NAC) while the Saints improved to 15-5 (8-0 GNAC). 

Despite hitting 54.5% of their three-point attempts, Lesley struggled to keep up with Emmanuel offensively.  Lynx freshman Kaitlyn Wechsler (Merrick, N.Y.) led the offense with 18 points on 8-of-16 from the floor.  Wechsler also had two steals and an assist.

Sophomore Georgia Saltzman (Lynn, Mass.) in just 16 minutes of playing time finished with eight points and five rebounds, including hitting both of her three-point attempts. 

The Saints were led by Iman Davis (New Britain, Conn.) who finished with 21 points, nine rebounds, seven steals, and three assists.  Six of her nine rebounds were offensive.  Emmanuel also had double-digit point efforts from Jade Paez (Bronx, N.Y.) and Jacque Pannell (Bloomfield, Conn.) who had 13 and 10 points, respectively. 

The Lynx will next host a series of home North Atlantic Conference games starting Friday night against UMaine-Farmington at 6:30 p.m.  Emmanuel will travel to Mount Ida College on Wednesday to play at 5:00 p.m.
