Lesley loses first half lead to Husson

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Kaitlin Laquerre (Hudson, N.H.) had a monstrous first half and was a big reason why Lesley trailed Husson College by only seven points at half time.

Laquerre seemed to be everywhere on the court for the Lynx against the Eagles.  She had 8 rebounds and 8 points, both team highs, at the half.  She also managed two steals and an assist.

The Lynx fought the visiting Eagles extremely hard on every aspect of the game.  The Lynx out shot Husson in the first half and were in a rebound deficit of just 4 after the first 20 minutes.

Husson got hot late and shot over 50% in the second half (40% from three-point land).  Husson was able to get in a rhythm in the second half and that was the reason for the large scoring discrepancy.

Lesley was led in points by Christina DiGiorgio (Lowell, Mass.) who finished with 14 points and had a team best three 3-pointers.  Jodi Fralick (Woburn, Mass.) who played in her Lesley debut finished with 11 points.  The aforementioned Laquerre finished with a team high 10 rebounds and 8 points.
