UMF offense dominates in win over Lesley

FARMINGTON, Me. - The Lynx had four players in double figures but were unable to slow down the Farmington offense as they lost 91-62 to the University of Maine at Farmington.

Courtnie Leakeas (Lowell, Mass.) and Kelly Harrington (Toledo, Ohio) each had a team-high 14 points.  Leakeas added a team-high seven rebounds.  Christina DiGiorgio (Lowell, Mass.) chipped in with 11 points and Hailee Lowe (Hamilton, Mass.) added eight points of her own.

Farmington was lead by Caitlyn Laflin (Farmingdale, Me.) who had a game-high 30 points, and added nine rebounds.  The Beaver's had three other players in double-figures, Erin Johnson (Bailey Island, Me.), Stephanie Bossie (Winslow, Me.) and Erin Porter (Bangor, Me.) went for 16, 13 and 13 points respectively.

Farmington used very good first half shooting to jump out to an insurmountable lead.  The Lynx trailed by 24, 50-26 at the half.  The second half was a different story for the Lynx and they were able to stay with Farmington.  Farmington only outscored Lesley 41-36 in the second frame.
