Cambridge, Mass- Lesley Men's Basketball senior forward Joey Martin has named to the NECC All-Conference third team. Martin is the lone Lynx to receive an All-Conference honor.
#10 JOEY MARTIN
- Over the course of the season Martin finished as the leading scorer (17.3 PPG) and rebounder (7.0 RPG) for the Lynx. Those figures landed him in the top 10 in those categories across the NECC, eighth in scoring and seventh in rebounding. Finishing with 432 points throughout the season place him sixth among the NECC.
- Martin racked up ten 20+ point games and six double-doubles over his senior season. He eclipsed the 1,000 point mark during a road loss to Pine Manor College (Feb. 4).
- His best performance of the season came in a win versus Anna Maria (Dec. 11), Martin finished with 25 points and eight rebounds well shooting 53% from the field, 50% from the three point line, and 70% from the free throw line.
- Martin was named to the NECC All-Conference Second team the year prior.
