Freshman point guard Anthony Mattocks (Sarasota, Fla.) was honored as the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week for the first time this season. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Communications Robb Modica made the announcement this morning in the NECC Men's Basketball Weekly Report. From the report:

Anthony Mattocks, Lesley

(Fr. G - Sarasota, Fla.)

Mattocks averaged 12.3 points, 3.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game this week while knocking down 53% of his three point attempts. The freshman guard had 14 points in a 63-55 win over Wheelock and 15 points along with five assists and four steals in a 72-66 loss to Mitchell.
