THE LEAD –  The Lynx end Spring Break with a 7-6 win against Coast Guard Academy.    

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Coast Guard started the game with a run in the bottom of the first.
• The Lynx answered right away with a RBI single from Colby Jacobs.
• Coast Guard responded with a three running inning in the third, adding a fourth run to the board in the fourth inning.
• Lynx battled back with a three-run homer from Owen Kalagher.
• Coast Guard answered with a homerun of their own in the top of the eighth.
• Entering the ninth inning down by two runs the Lynx battled back and scored three.
• A hit in the batters box, a balk, and sacrifice fly would give the Lynx the lead heading into the bottom of the ninth.
