Henniker, NH- The bats were unable to crack to starting pitching of the Pilgrims as the Lynx fell, 4-0 & 7-1, in Friday's conference doubleheader. 

Inside Game 1:

• A defensive miscue early came back to bite Lesley, as two runs scored in the first. 
• A RBI single from NEC would make the game 3-0 in the fourth. 
• After a throwing error, the Grims took the lead to 4-0 in the sixth where it would stand to be the final. 
• Freshman Roy Lenhard did all he could to give the Lynx a shot, going 5 2/3 while only giving up 2 earned runs in the loss. 

Inside Game 2:

• A similar problem came back in game 2, as the Grims took an early 1-0 lead in the first. 
• NEC would then tack on two more over the third and fourth to make it 3-0. 
• A big sixth inning helped to seal the deal, as four came across to make it 7-0. 
• Christian McElroy would score the only run of the game for the Lynx, advancing to third on a wild pitch and then scoring on a throwing error. 

Lynx Highlights:

• Justin Dennett continued his second half tear, going 2-6 on the day at the plate. 
• Ian Dempsey went 2-5 on the day. 

Up Next:

The Lynx (12-22, 1-9) will be back in action in the season finale Sunday, April 30th taking on the Pilgrims of NEC at home in a conference doubleheader. First pitch is set for 12pm.
