Lexington, MA- Lesley baseball celebrates Senior Day, honoring the four members of the class of 2023 on Saturday. Those 4 include: CJ Fusco, Christian Vignola, Nate Trudnich, and Adam Budorick. 

Inside Game 1: 

• The Mariners took an early 1-0 lead on a sac fly to plate the run. 
• The Lynx bounced back quickly, wth a James Brandon single scoring Adam Budorick.
• An Ian Dempsey single in the second gave the Lynx the go-ahead run to move to 2-1. 
• A costly error in the 5th resulted in 3 runs coming around to score, giving Mitchell the lead at 4-2. 
• Colby Jacobs would blast his 6th home run of the year in the 5th to cut into the lead at 4-3. 
• Mitchell would tack on 4 over the last two frames to put the score to its final at 8-3. 

Inside Game 2:

• Game two featured Senior Nate Trudnich getting the start on the mound, going one inning while striking out one to lower his ERA to 2.45 with his sixth scoreless outing on the year.
• Mitchell would break through in the second inning off the reliever, putting up one to take the lead at 1-0. 
• The Mariners would tack on 6 more off the reliever Jacobus to make the score 7-0, to which it would remain through the end of the game. 

Lynx Highlights:

• James Brandon went 4-7 with a run batted in over the two games. 
• Trevor Faison went 4-6 in the doubleheader. 
• Adam Budorick went 3-7 with a pair of stolen bases along with a run scored. 
• James Labombard lowered his ERA to 1.35 on the year after 2/3 of an inning in relief for the freshman. 
• Nate Trudnich faced 4 over his inning of work, not allowing a hit while striking out one.

The Lynx (11-19, 1-7) will take on the Colonels of Curry College in a road game Wednesday, April 27th. Start time is set for 3pm.
