Lexington, MA- Behind an early start on the scoreboard, the Lions of ENC take down Lesley 10-2 to hand the Lynx their first loss in conference play. 

Inside the Game:

• The Lions were able to capitilize early on defensive mistakes by the Lynx, putting up runs in the second, third and fourth innings to jump out to an early 10-0 lead.
• The Lion's start Boynton helped to keep the Lynx bats quiet, only allowing 2 runs over 7 innings.
• The only runs scored by the Lynx came on a passed ball by the ENC catcher, allowing Boone Scherer and Matt Ceruti to score to cut into the lead at 10-2. 

Lynx Highlights:

• Adam Budorick went 1-3 with a stolen base from the leadoff spot for the Lynx. 
• Boone Scherer reached twice in his three plate appearances, scoring once.
• The bullpen combination of Kolten Moyer, James Labombard and Nate Trudnich went 3 1/3 scoreless, capped off by the senior Trudnich striking out the side in the seventh inning. 

The Lynx (4-7, 0-1) are at home for their next game against the Beavers of UMaine-Farmington. First pitch of the double header is set for 12pm.
