PITCHER OF THE WEEK:

Tom Muratore (Sr., P), Lesley University

Senior Tom Muratore (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) pitched six innings in a rout over Stockton, giving up only one earned run, while striking out eight. The senior picked up the win in his lone appearance of the week.

ROOKIE AND PLAYER OF THE WEEK:

Will Kulcher (Fr., IF/OF), Dean College

Freshman Will Kulcher (Crown Point, Ind.) had a strong week for the Bulldogs, hitting .538 with five extra base hits and a .600 on-base percentage. He had three hits, including his first career homerun, in a 4-3 loss to Anna Maria. Then, after getting a hit, driving in a run and scoring another in a 12-5 win over Massachusetts Maritime, he recorded three more hits to go with three RBI in a loss to Mass Maritime. For the week, he was 7-for-13 at the plate, with four doubles, a homerun, a stolen base and three runs scored. In addition to those numbers, he had a 1.077 slugging percentage and 14 total bases.
