ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Junior right-hander Tom Muratore (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) highlighted four members of the 2017 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Champions to earn All-Conference honors, announced Tuesday afternoon.

Muratore was selected to the All-NECC First Team for the first time in his collegiate career after posting a 4-2 record with a 2.95 ERA and 24 strikeouts against conference opponents. Overall on the season, he guided the Lynx to their first conference championship with a 7-3 record with a 3.44 ERA while leading the Lynx with 44 strikeouts. Additionally, Muratore picked up the save in a must-win, one-run, 5-4 victory over Becker College to take the season series. In the NECC post-season he tossed a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in a 3-2 win over Elms College to remain in the winner's bracket of the tournament.

Sophomore first baseman Ryan Pumphret (Shrewsbury, Mass.) was selected to the All-NECC Second Team at first base. Pumphret provided the Lynx with a power-bat in the middle of the line-up posting a .509 slugging percentage while leading Lesley with three homeruns against conference opponents. Overall in 39 games on the season, he batted .308 (40-130) with seven doubles, four homeruns and 19 RBIs.

Fellow sophomore, backstop Jacob Cervantes (Oxnard, Calif.) also earned All-Conference Second Team honors at catcher. One of the conference's top catchers in 2017, Cervantes led the NECC in throwing out runners, gunning down three would-be base-stealers against conference foes. Junior right-hander Nick Iadevaio (Mineola, N.Y.) joined Cervantes and Pumphret on the All-NECC Second Team. Iadevaio registered a 3-2 record with two saves, 23 strikeouts and a 2.84 ERA against conference opponents.

Junior Aaron Rhodes (Chittenden, Vt.) was the Lynx representative on the NECC All-Sportsmanship Team. Fourth year Head Coach Billy Cather was named the 2017 NECC Coach of the Year by his peers.
