WINTER HAVEN, FL -- Hamilton College used a seven-run third inning to catapult the Continentals to a 10-3 victory Wednesday at Chain O' Lakes Field.

Junior shortstop Aqib Shah doubled, drove in a run and scored for the Lynx, which fall to 1-5. Robert Parson went 2-for-2 with two singles, two walks and a run, and fellow freshman Tyler Plourd went 3-for-5 with a double and a pair of singles.  

Three singles, two Lynx errors and two hit batsmen led to the seven-run third off starter John Gosnell, making his first start with the Lynx. After getting hit by a pitch and scoring in the third, first baseman Stephen La Rochelle walked and scored in the fifth and singled and scored in the seventh, when the Centinentals extended their lead to 10-1 in the seventh before Lesley tacked on a pair in the ninth.

Lesley wraps up its Florida trip tomorrow at noon against regional opponent Gordon College.
