LAKELAND, FL -- Six different Lynx recorded a hit, including starting pitcher Pete Plansky, who went 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI in the Lesley's 14-4 loss to Hiram College Tuesday morning in Lakeland, FL.

Catcher Jeff Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a run driven in, and shortstop Aquib Shah doubled and scored a run for the Lynx, which wrapped up their inaugural spring training trip on Tuesday.

For Hiram, designated hitter Lance Townsend went 1-for-3 with a home run and three runs, sparking a 14-run outburst.

For the Lynx, Joseph Santos also doubled and scored a run in the loss, which dropped Lesley to 0-5.

The Lynx return to Cambridge, preparing for New England Collegiate Conference play starting March 19 at Elms College.
