DAVENPORT, FL -- On day two in the history of Lesley baseball, the Lynx fell to Purdue-North Central and Roosevelt University, 10-0 and 18-4, respectively.
Aquib Shah went 1-for-2 in each game, stealing his first base in Game 1 and picking up a walk, RBI and run scored in the nightcap. Ryan Genua also went 1-for-2 with his first stolen base against Roosevelt.
Like Shah, Genua also accounted for a healthy portion of the Lynx offense in Game 2, also going 1-for-2, adding a triple, a run and a pair of walks. Catcher Jeff Gonzalez went 1-for-2, scoring the Lynx other two runs, adding an RBI and a walk.
Jeff Landry and Joe Marcinko also picked up RBIs for the Lynx in the loss to Roosevelt, which dropepd Lesley to 0-4 in its inaugural season.
Mike Rocco's Lynx take Monday off before closing out their Florida spring training trip against Hiram on Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.
