CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Four Lesley University runners were honored by the New England Collegiate Conference on Monday after the Lynx men's and women's teams repeated as league champions at Saturday's NECC Championship.

Senior Keryn Thorvaldsen was named NECC Runner of the Week after earning the league's Runner of the Year honors on Saturday, finishing in first place with a time of 19:25. Freshman teammate Emilia McGrath earned NECC Rookie of the Year honors, finishing third with a time of 21:16 to earn NECC Rookie of the Week.

On the men's side, junior Max Bulger was named Runner of the Week after finishing with a time of 27:51 for the 8k course, earning NECC Runner of the Year honors. Lesley's Nick Green was named Rookie of the Week, coming in third place at 28:14 in also earning NECC Rookie of the Year.

The Lynx return to the course on Saturday, November 10 at the NCAA Regionals, hosted by Westfield State.
