Henniker, N.H.- Lesley University won their second-straight New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Cross Country title, collecting 19 points to defeat Mitchell College (36) on Saturday morning at New England College.
Hannah Nangle finished first overall for the Lynx, with a time of 21:40 in the women's 5k race, winning 2022 NECC Runner of the Year for her efforts. Lesley would have four additional runners cross the finish line in the top seven, as Kaeden Green (25:08), Luna Robichaud (26:25), Raffaella Vogt (26:39) and Michelle Hutter (26:40) each earned all-conference honors. Green would also pick up NECC Rookie of the Year honors, as the first rookie to place in the race.
Mitchell's Abby Rasmussen finished in second place with a time of 24:04, while New England College's Keegan Finley finished in third with a time of 24:20 to round out the All-Conference honorees.
Lesley head coach Daniel Selsky was voted Coach of the Year by his peers, his second-straight NECC Coach of the Year award.
