Women's Cross Country Finishes 31st at UMass-Dartmouth Invite

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Lesley University women's cross country team finished 31st of 37 with a team score of 865 at the UMass-Dartmouth 5K Invitational, Saturday afternoon.

Senior Amy Bouchard (Goffstown, N.H.) and junior Alex Dimauro (Woburn, Mass.) paced the Lynx running at a six-minute clip. Bouchard was the first Lynx runner to cross the finish line with a time of 21:10.90 to finish 145th in the 275-runner field. Dimauro was right behind her, running at a clip of 6:55.9 to finish 159th with a time of 21:32.15.

Sophomore Nicole Footer (Lewiston, Maine) and senior Hannah Levensailor (Ayer, Mass.) came in next at 191st and 198th with times of 22:30.52 and 22:44.15, respectively. Senior Sydney Altschuler (Durham, Conn.) and Abbey Coppinger (Moultonborough, N.H.) rounded out the Lynx runners with times of 23:09.64 and 24:15.91.

The Lynx will be back in action next Saturday, September 24th, when they travel to Chicopee, Mass. for the Elms College Blazer Invitational.
