ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Lesley University freshman Kelly Lynch (Topsham, Maine) has been named New England Collegiate Conference Runner of the Week this week after leading the way for the Lynx at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen made the announcement today in the conference Weekly Report.

Lynch cruised to a personal-best time of 21:06 on the Corsair's campus to lead the Lesley women at the event.

NECC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Kelly Lynch, Lesley (So., Topsham, Maine) - Lynch shaved more than a full minute off of her time from the Roger Williams Invite as she ran to a 21:06 time this past Saturday at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational. The Maine native was the first Lynx finisher at the event.

Lynch and the Lynx will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Chicopee, Mass. for the annual Elms College Invitational.
